i
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS OF ROLLING MACHINE AND / OR PERSON TO A PREDETERMINED AREA
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a device for controlling access of a rolling vehicle and / or of a person to a predetermined area.
It relates more particularly to an access control device comprising a barrier element which can be positioned in the vicinity of the predetermined zone with controlled access, an at least partial storage box for said barrier element and means for detecting and / or signaling the îo presence of a rolling vehicle or a person, configured to emit a control signal, when the presence of said rolling vehicle or of the person in a predetermined location generally located near the barrier element is detected and / or reported.
There are different barrier systems intended to mark parking areas or to limit access. They are used in car parks, at motorway tolls, for reserved access areas ...
These barriers are mechanical, liftable or retractable.
They are controlled manually or by suitable sensors which trigger the electric motor generating the movement of the barrier.
These barriers present various problems concerning their implementation and their use. Their movement generates risks for users: it is known that, despite the sensors provided to avoid this drawback, the barriers frequently fall back on the vehicles whose passage they are regulating, or on pedestrians when they pass underneath and that 'they ignore the existence of an automatic movement.
Depending on the case, they cause material or personal damage. Their travel requires a minimum height which is not always available. In underground car parks for example, we are led to have hinged barriers which pose adjustment and reliability problems due to the complexity of the mechanism and the joints. Their mass combined with the amplitude of the displacements requires the installation of complex mechanisms and a consequent electrical supply. Barriers consume energy. They are not always visible in the dark, which leads to installing additional lighting. When the barrier is damaged, repair requires the intervention of a specialist, which is expensive.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
As mentioned above, the subject of the invention is a device 1 for controlling access of a rolling vehicle or of a person to a predetermined area, such as for example a parking lot.
This control device 1 comprises a barrier element 2 and a trunk 4 for at least partial storage of said barrier element 2. This control device 1 further comprises detection means 131 and / or signaling 132 of the presence of a rolling vehicle or of a person, configured to emit a control signal when the presence of the vehicle or of the person in a predetermined location, usually located in front of the barrier element 2, is detected or signaled.
The barrier element 2 is in the form of a closed pocket or envelope which can be wound around one of its free edges shown at 31 in the figures to form, in the wound state, a spiral winding.
This free edge 31 of the pocket 3 is formed by the edge of the pocket 3 opposite the edge 32 connecting the pocket 3 to the storage chest 4. The edge 32 connecting the pocket 3 to the storage chest 4 is housed at least partially îo inside the storage chest 4 while the free edge 31 of the pocket can protrude from the storage chest 4.
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the pocket is in the form of an elongated cylindrical tubular body with the ends of the cylinder respectively forming the free edge 31 and the edge 32 of connection to the chest 4 for storing the pocket 3.
In the example shown in Figure 9, the pocket is in the form of a quadrangular mattress with two opposite edges of the mattress forming one, the free edge 31 of the pocket, the other, the edge 32 of connection to the 4 storage chest.
This pocket 3 is also equipped with means 8 for returning the pocket 3 to the wound state. These return means 8 here comprise a leaf spring 81 extending between the free edge 31 and the connecting edge 32 of the pocket 3.
In the example shown in Figure 1, this leaf spring is housed inside a longitudinal sleeve 33 of the pocket 3. Generally and independently of the embodiment of the pocket, this leaf spring is, in one from its ends, fixed to a support housed inside the storage box 4 and at its other end, to a cylinder placed at the free edge 31 of the pocket, this cylinder serving as a core during the winding of the pocket 3 under the effect of the spring blade which, in the absence of external stress, is in the form of a spiral winding.
In the example shown in Figure 1, the pocket 3 made of a flexible material is an inflatable pocket which is, in the inflated state, in the form of a horizontal body extending from the trunk, said trunk 4 of storage unit which presents itself in the form of a parallelepiped body with a vertical axis. This horizontal body blocks access to the controlled access area, here a parking lot. The pocket is therefore deployed here in a horizontal direction.
îo As a variant and as illustrated in FIG. 9, the pocket can be deployed in a vertical direction, the storage chest being, in this case, positioned in the ground or on the ground and the pocket deploying in the manner of a mattress inflatable, from the ground, to prevent or authorize, for example, no longer access to a car park, but simply to a parking space or a platform.
Thus, in the example shown in FIG. 9, it is imagined that the access to be controlled being a loading dock equipped with a door, the signaling means 132 of the presence of a vehicle rolling on the dock comprise at least one platform opening detection sensor.
In the example shown in Figure 1, the storage chest 4 is therefore, as mentioned above, in the form of a rectangular block with two end faces and four longitudinal side faces.
In configuration of use, the trunk rests on the ground by one of its end faces. A longitudinal side face of the trunk 4 is provided with an opening 5 through which the pocket 3 projects in the active configuration.
This opening 5 is disposed in the upper part of the trunk, in the configuration of use of said trunk 4. The opening of the trunk 4 for storage is provided with a closure element 6 equipped with means 7 for return.
This closing element 6 is here formed by a hatch pivoting about a horizontal axis in the configuration of use, this hatch being returned by spring in the closed position. This hatch is able to pass from the closed position to the open position, under the action of a thrust exerted by the pocket on the hatch, during inflation of the pocket.
This flap then serves to support the pocket in the inflated state of the pocket and constitutes a stiffening of the pocket limiting the risk of the pocket bending in the inflated state. This hatch therefore extends, in the open position, under the pocket 3.
îo In the example shown in Figure 9, the storage box 4 is in the form of a hollow body whose top side is provided with an opening 5 through which the pocket 3 projects in active configuration. This opening 5 is provided with two closing elements 6 each formed by a pivoting flap capable of passing from a closed position to an open position using a jack controlled as a function of the control signal emitted by the signaling means. 132. The pivoting flaps are therefore able to pass from the closed position to the open position when, for example, in the case of access control to a platform, the platform door is open. In this case, a sensor for detecting the opening of the platform door constitutes a means of signaling the rolling vehicle. These pivoting flaps which extend on either side of the pocket, in this case the faces of the mattress, then serve to support the pocket in the inflated state of the pocket and constitute a stiffening of the pocket limiting the risk of the bag flexing when the bag is inflated.
Regardless of the embodiment of the bag, for the passage of the bag 3 from the deflated state to the inflated state, inflation means are provided.
These inflation means comprise a source 9 of pressurized gas, a connection 10 for connection of the source 9 of pressurized gas to the bag 3, a member 11 for opening / closing of the connection 10 for connection of the source 9 gas under pressure in the bag 3 and a unit 12 for controlling said opening / closing member 11 as a function of the control signal from the detection means 131 and / or signaling 132.
The control unit 12 is therefore configured to allow, when a rolling machine 5 or a person is detected and / or reported directly or indirectly, the closure of the connection link 10 for connecting the source 9 of pressurized gas to the pocket 3 and, consequently, the exhaust of the pocket 3 for the passage of the device 1 of an active configuration, in which the pocket 3 is inflated, unrolled and arranged at least partially projecting from the boot 4 storage, in an inactive configuration, in which the pocket is deflated, wound in a spiral and housed at least partially, preferably completely, inside the storage chest 4.
The source 9 of pressurized gas here comprises a compressor 91 connected via a tank 92 to the pocket 3. The connection 10 between compressor, tank and pocket is formed by a simple duct capable of being closed by an opening / closing member. formed here by a distributor 11 with drawer.
This drawer distributor 11 is controlled by the control unit 12. The control unit 12 is an electronic and / or computer type unit, comprising for example a microcontroller or a microprocessor associated with a working memory and capable of communicating with the detection 131 or signaling 132 means.
Thus, when it is specified that the control unit 12 or means of the unit are configured to perform a given operation, this means that the control unit 12 comprises computer instructions and the corresponding execution means, which allow this operation to be carried out.
The control unit 12 therefore controls the movement of the slide valve distributor 11 as a function of the control signal from the signaling and / or detection means of a vehicle or a person.
This control can be carried out by simple control of the electrical supply of a solenoid fitted to the distributor 11 with drawer.
The distributor 11 with drawer is in fact, by the effect of the active solenoid against a spring, mounted movable between a first position corresponding to the open position of the connection 10 for connecting the source 9 of pressurized gas to the bag 3 and a second position corresponding to the so-called closed position of the connection 10 between compressor 91 and bag 3 in which the bag is in the exhaust and can therefore be folded under the effect of the means 8 for returning said bag 3.
îo Conversely, in the open position of the connection 10 for connecting the source 9 of pressurized fluid to the bag 3, the bag 3 is inflated under the effect of the air contained in the reservoir 92 interposed between the compressor 91 and the pocket 3. The distributor 11 with drawer is in turn disposed on the link 10, between the reservoir 92 and the pocket 3.
This distributor 11 with drawer is therefore normally in the so-called open position of the connection 10 for connecting the source of pressurized gas to the bag and is closed when the detection and / or signaling means emit a control signal in the direction of the 'control unit, this detection causing the current supply via the control unit 12 of the solenoid equipping the distributor 11 with drawer.
In the example shown, the reservoir 92 supplied with air by the compressor 91 can also be supplied with air by a chamber 93 of variable volume, connected to the reservoir 92 by a fluid connection 15 equipped with a non-return valve 16.
Return means 934 formed by a spring recall the chamber in its configuration of greater volume. These return means 934 act on the movement of a deformable or movable wall 935 of the chamber 93, as illustrated.
This wall 935 of the chamber 93 is configured to be mobile under the action of a pressure exerted directly or indirectly on said wall, by a rolling machine or a person moving along a predetermined path corresponding to the track access or exit from the controlled access area.
In the example shown, the chamber 93 is formed by one of the chambers of a pneumatic cylinder or of an air pump, the body of which is compartmentalized in two chambers by a piston 931 equipped with a rod 932. The another chamber 14 of the pneumatic cylinder or of the air pump is crossed by the rod 932 for actuating the piston 931 of the pneumatic cylinder or of the air pump.
This rod 932 can be coupled to a pedal 933 capable of being actuated by a rolling vehicle or a person moving along a predetermined path corresponding to the access or exit route from the predetermined zone with controlled access.
Thus, when the pedal 933 is actuated under the effect of a vehicle rolling on said pedal, it causes the rod 932 of the jack to retract. The air is expelled from the chamber 93 of the jack connected to the tank, and supplies said tank 92 with air.
A return spring is disposed between the pedal 933 and a fixed point, to return the pedal 933 to a position corresponding to the extended position of the rod 932 of the pneumatic cylinder.
The reservoir 92 is also equipped with a safety valve 17 to prevent any overpressure in said reservoir 92.
The reservoir 92 can therefore be supplied with air by the compressor or the pneumatic cylinder.
The means 131 for detecting and / or 132 signaling a vehicle with a view to the emission of a control signal capable of being received and processed by the control unit 12 can be various and varied.
Thus, FIG. 1 illustrates signaling means 131 comprising a signaling button which can be positioned on or along a predetermined path corresponding to the access or exit path from the predetermined zone with controlled access.
This control button can be actuated by the person or the operator of the rolling vehicle wishing to enter or leave the predetermined zone with controlled access. The actuation of said button results in the emission of a control signal in the direction of the control unit 12.
îo In the example shown in FIG. 2, the detection means 132 comprise, for their part, a sensor for the presence of the rolling vehicle or of a person, positioned on, or along, a predetermined trajectory corresponding to the access or exit route from the predetermined zone with controlled access.
Thus, when a vehicle or a person is positioned in front of the barrier element 2 in order to be able to cross this barrier element 2, its presence is detected by the detection means 132. Again, as soon as the detection is carried out, a control signal is emitted in the direction of the control unit 12 which, in turn, commands the closure of the connection 10 for connecting the source of pressurized gas to the bag 3.
The operation of such a device 1 therefore operates as follows: it is assumed that the bag 3 is inflated and forms a barrier element 2 preventing access to the zone with controlled access. A vehicle or a person is detected, or signals itself via the driver of the vehicle when he arrives in the vicinity of the controlled access zone. A control signal resulting from the detection or the signaling is sent to the control unit, which controls the closing of the link 10 by moving the distributor 11 with drawer. The pocket 3 is then exhausted and folds back. The vehicle can then enter the controlled access area. Once the vehicle has entered the controlled access zone, air from the reservoir 92 is supplied to the bag 3, following the opening of the link 10. This reservoir 92 can be recharged with air via the compressor and / or the pneumatic cylinder. Compressor operation
91 can be controlled by an air level in the tank. Pocket 3 unfolds and again closes access to the controlled access area.
In the example represented in FIG. 9, it is the opening of the door of a quay closed by the barrier element 2 which signals, indirectly, the presence of a vehicle rolling on the quay, the means signaling in this case îo formed by a sensor for detecting the opening of the door. As soon as the signaling has been carried out, a control signal is emitted in the direction of the control unit which, in turn, controls the opening of the connection 10 for connecting the source of pressurized gas to the bag 3 and in parallel l actuation of the cylinders in the direction of opening the closing elements 4. As soon as the door is closed, the control unit 12 controls the closure of the connection 10 for connecting the source of pressurized gas to the bag 3 with a view to exhausting the bag 3 and in parallel actuation of the cylinders, preferably pneumatic, in the direction of closing the closing elements 4. It should be noted that the jacks can be actuated in parallel with the inflation / deflation of the bag or according to a predetermined sequencing with the inflation / deflation operation of the bag.
Operation may be similar when it comes to leaving an area with controlled access. The access control device 1 can in this case be equipped with detection or signaling means which are arranged on either side of the barrier element, to detect and / or signal an entry or an exit from the predetermined area with controlled access.
